Chocolate Chip Macaroon Cookies (naturally gluten free)
Against all odds, these bad boys were voted the 4th best chocolate chip cookie in all of New York City (including among legends like Levain, Jacques Torres, Dominique Ansel, Ovenly, and Maman, just to name a few of the 37 other competitors).
This chocolate chip cookie macaroon features chunks of dark 70% single origin Columbian chocolate, a sprinkle of flaky Maldon sea salt, (and a drizzle of salted caramel if you want it). They're a bit bigger than the macaroons - they're both flattened out a bit to be more like a cookie but also a bit heavier because they're loaded up with chocolate chunks (and caramel).
Ingredients: sweetened flake coconut, sweetened condensed milk, dark chocolate, egg whites, vanilla extract, salt (caramel contains: butter, sugar, salt).
Allergens: Our chocolate contains soy lecithin; the macaroons obviously contain coconut, which the FDA considers a tree nut; eggs; dairy; and they're made in a facility that process every other allergen though we operate separately.
